    The following rules are modified from Tamiya's own rules on their Mini4wd Rules page.

General Rules
Types of Vehicles
  1. Tamiya car kits only. There may be no scratchbuilt bodies or chassis.

Racing Car Features
  1. Modification of cars to run in strictly front or rear wheel drive is prohibited. Cars must be four wheel drive.
  2. Bodies must be secured to the chasis for the safety of both the racers and other racecars. Bodies may be modified as long as the general shape of the body remains intact. Making "pencil" bodies is prohibited.
  3. The race officials reserve the right to inspect any car at any time. If car is found in violation of any regulation, it will not be allowed to participate.
  4. Possession of a spare car is permitted providing that it incorporates the same modification as the original car. Cars may not be swapped mid-heat.
  5. Paint or at least one sticker must be applied to the outside of the body.

Size Requirements
  1. Maximum width (including rollers, etc.) 105mm (4.13")
  2. Maximum height (including rear wing) 70mm (2.76")
  3. Maximum length (including bumper, stabilizer, etc.) 155mm (6.10")
  4. Minimum ground clearance 1mm (.004")
  5. Minimum weight, ready to run 90gms
  6. Tire diameter not less than 22mm (.87") or greater than 35mm (1.38")
  7. Tire width not less than 8mm (.31") or greater than 26mm (1.02")

Unlimited Class Rules
    Any and all modifications are acceptable in this class except for the rules listed above.
Modified Class Rules
  1. Cars must remain box stock in this class except for the motor.
  2. No more than four (4) rollers may be used on the car at once, and no more than two (2) rollers with rubber o-rings on them may be used at once.
  3. Stock tires and wheels must be used.
  4. Drilling, sanding or trimming of body and chassis is allowed.
  5. Any batteries may be used as long as the number of batters does not exceed two (2) per car.

Stock Class Rules
  1. Cars must remain box stock in this class.
  2. Stock motor must be used, signs of tampering result in motor confiscation and disqualification from the event.
  3. No more than four (4) rollers may be used on the car at once, and only two (2) rollers with rubber o-rings on them may be used at once.
  4. Stock tires and wheels must be used.
  5. Drilling, sanding or trimming of body and chassis is allowed.
  6. Any batteries may be used as long as the number of batteries does not exceed two (2).

General Rules and Regulations
    The purpose of these events is to offer fun and engaging alternatives to the usual diversions. As such, the following rules and regulations will be followed and enforced at all times:

  1. The car will not be allowed to race if it potentially damaging to the track or to other cars or racers.
  2. Cars will not be permitted to interfere with other cars during racing.
  3. Racers will not be allowed to disrupt other cars or the track while racing is in session.
  4. Modification of the car after inspection will not be permitted.
  5. The race officials have final say in all matters. Disobeying the race officials will result in suspension of racing privileges.
  6. Racers and spectators will be expected to display proper manners and behavior at all times or removal of those privileges will ensue.
